This sweet chili sauce is easy to make. It keeps in the fridge for a couple of weeks so you can make it ahead of time to have.
What you need: – 1/4 cup of vinegar – 1/4 cup of white sugar – 1/4 cup of water – 1 tbsp sriracha – 1/2 tbsp of cornstarch – 1 tbsp of water
Add vinegar, sugar, water, and sriracha to a small saucepan. Heat and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
Mix together cornstarch and water, and then add the cornstarch mixture to the pot. Heat until simmering, stirring occasionally. The sauce will thicken up, and clear after about five minutes.
This will keep in the fridge in a jar for up to two weeks. We often use it straight from the pot.
