You can toast your sesame seeds, this step is totally optional though. Learn how on LRA.
Add the toasted sesame seeds to a small bowl. Add the poppy seeds, onion, garlic, and sea salt to the bowl with the sesame seeds. Mix well.
I use an egg yolk and a little water for my egg yolk wash. Now sprinkle on some everything bagel seasoning that you made. The egg wash is the glue holding the seasoning on.
