This year I went a little crazy planting different herbs. I mean, a lot of variety. Now I have to figure out what I am going to do with them all. Instead of trying to place every single one in my garden beds, I’m going to try vertical herb gardens this year.

Growing Vertical Herb Gardens
I grow herbs every year. Usually just a small pot of each herb for my kitchen window. But this year I have gone a little overboard. I bought many, many seeds.
I had found a book at the library, A Homesteader’s Herbal Companion. I borrowed it once, and then headed straight to Amazon and bought it. And then started ordering seeds.
The vertical gardens I have below are all outside, but you don’t have to grow them outside. You can 100% grow herbs indoors. Some do better outside so you’ll want to learn more about which you can grow indoors before you start so you don’t get disappointed by a lack of growth.
